All members are encouraged to enter their homebrewed beers and meads into competitions. CASK offers interklub competitions at every monthly meeting, which provides valuable feedback to the brewer in the form of score sheets with associated judge's comments. This is also a great opportunity for klub members to gain judging experience in a friendly, helpful setting. Competition is often a vehicle for conversation with other brewers as it pertains to brewing methods and technologies.

CASK's largest competition of the year is the First Coast Cup. This event is a true celebration of homebrewing and has averaged over three-hundred entries in its first two years. The awards banquet and celebration is always highly anticipated and a fantastic time.

The Florida Circuit is a series of yearly competitions held by each of the Florida homebrew clubs similar to our First Coast Cup. Points are given to each brewer and associated club for any medal earned. The club and brewer with the most earned points at the end of the year win the Homebrew Club and Brewer of the Year awards respectively.
