April CASK Meeting!

Greetings!  Please join us for our next CASK meeting on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Strings Sports Brewery!  Judging will begin at 5 pm, followed by our social hour at 6 pm, and the business meeting will start at 7 pm.  There will be a raffle, however we would prefer square payments or exact change to limit contact.    

This month’s Interklub Competition is Haze Craze: 21B. Please remember to register your entry online, print a label, and you may drop off your entries to Just Brew It by close of business Friday or bring your chilled bottles to the meeting at 5 pm. We will need two bottles of homebrew for judging.  See you there!

March Monthly Meeting at Tabula Rasa!

Congratulations to March’s Interklub Competition winners!  We had some outstanding meads!!

GOLD went to Lucas Kluz and his M3A – Fruit and Spice Mead with Dried fruit (plums, apples and pears) with light cinnamon

SILVER went to Travis Denmark and his M1C – Sweet Mead Wildflower Standard mead

BRONZE went to Mike Lentz and his M2C – Berry Mead Blueberry mead

HONORABLE MENTION – Jesse Johnson and his M2A – Cyser

Abbaye Normale Tapping!

Tonight we celebrated the tapping of Jesse Johnson’s 2019 Belgian Witbier collaboration with King Maker Brewing. Also on tap is David Byer’s 2020 Abbaye Normale winning Belgian Golden Strong! Congratulations!!

February Club Meeting/Tapping Parties

Please remember to register your entry online, print a label, and you may drop off your entries to Just Brew It by close of business Friday or bring your chilled bottles to the meeting at 5 pm. We will need two bottles of homebrew for judging.  See you there!

Congratulations to Jason Click on winning Brewer of the Year. It was a tight race this year…only one point separated first and second place!

Congratulations also goes out to Mike Lentz on being voted as Member of the Year and Lifetime Member. Thank you for all you’ve done for the klub!

Great Job to all brewers who advanced their Klub Rankings this past year! A lot of hard work goes into brewing all these beers, ciders, and meads. The rankings page will be updated soon with 2020 results, we will let you know.

Don’t forget, our February meeting will be held on February 13th at Seven Bridges. Please make sure to register your February Interklub Smoke Beer and drop off at Just Brew It by close of business on February 12th or bring to Seven Bridges by 5pm on the 13th.
