A massive amount of thanks goes out to King Maker Brewing and their outstanding staff for hosting us during the judging portion for Abbaye Normale!
Chas, Jessie, Joe, Beertenders Chrissy and Robbie, and Bar Manager Paul, thank you all so much!
A wonderful thanks to our great hosts at King Maker Brewing for allowing us to spend the morning and afternoon judging the competition during their Oktoberfest festivities!
Do you remember, pre-pandemic, when we discussed having a wort share at Legacy? Well, mark your calendars because October 24th, it’s happening! We need a final count of those who are interested no later than October 9. That date will ensure we can give a final count to Matt and he can place the order. For those who have already paid, Bob has kept track of that information. For those who didn’t see the last email/Facebook announcement, the price is $25.00.  Legacy can accommodate about 18 brewers, and begin brewing about 9AM. They have lots of covered space behind the brewery and will be able to accommodate a few electric brew setups (110v). Those that wish to participate should contact Bob or Heather.
If you would prefer to pick up your wort to take somewhere else to brew, you may pick it up at 9AM if there are spaces available (i.e. not taken by onsite brewers).Â
Also, please don’t forget that Abbaye Normale entries are due to JBI by close of business this Friday, September 25th.Â
